Marimo balls just arrived! They’re smaller than I thought they’d be, but they look healthy and cute rolling around the tank.

Let’s Get Salty has 800 followers!!!
I never expected it would get this popular! It makes me so happy that I’m able to inspire and introduce so many people to these wonderful animals. It’s so nice meeting others both in the hobby and out, being able to offer advice, make friends, and just talk about these animals.

Something I feel I’m responsible to say though, as several people are getting into the reef hobby after viewing my blog – do your research! I know it’s exciting and you want to jump right in, but please, please learn about the fish, corals, or inverts you intend to keep. Take a week or so, read up, look at the costs and needs of the animal. Not only could you hurt them if you don’t, but MANY of the animals in this hobby can hurt YOU!
And start off with the easy to keep ones. Work your way up!
I love so much seeing people get into keeping these critters, so if you need advice or suggestions – I’m here! I’d love to help!

So with that, thank you all so, so much for this community and your support!!! <3
